Morpheus

CATEGORIES: UPLIGHTS, DOWNLIGHTS

Morpheus is a first-of-its-kind smart landscape lighting fixture that gives lighting professionals unprecedented control over the shape, direction, and intensity of light—from the Dauer Smart App.

At its core is a patent-pending liquid crystal lens system that electronically reshapes the beam without motors, moving optics, interchangeable lenses, or manual adjustments to the fixture. With Dauer’s proprietary Kinetic Lighting Effect (KLE), one or multiple lighting positions can be connected to create gradual movement through the landscape.

Transition from a precise 16° spot to a wide 70° flood—or stop anywhere in between. Stretch the beam vertically, expand it horizontally, adjust its intensity, and shift the light across two axes to place illumination exactly where the design calls for it.

A wash can drift across a wall, moonlight can move naturally through branches, or a focal point can subtly evolve throughout the evening. Fixtures can also be grouped and coordinated across an entire installation while retaining individual control when needed.

Morpheus can be installed as an uplight or downlight to illuminate trees, columns, sculptures, walls, architectural details, and other landscape elements. More than 10,000 possible lighting combinations allow one fixture to adapt to changing environments, design objectives, and client preferences.

Save scenes and presets to the cloud, schedule lighting around sunrise and sunset, manage multiple users, and make adjustments without repeated trips into the landscape.
