Celebrating 20 years strong…and great staying power
In 2020, Dauer Manufacturing will be celebrating its 20th anniversary. It has been an amazing journey to evolve and revolutionize the low-voltage lighting industry, and it is a testament to our designers and engineers that have been able to bring innovative products to market while maintaining a consistently high level of quality. We are proud that we have been able to deliver lighting that exceeds expectations not only aesthetically, but also functionally.
Of course, none of it would be possible without our valued customers like you, and your continued trust in Dauer to provide exceptional lighting solutions. Thank you for your many years of support and we look forward to many future decades of serving you with professionalism and pride.
As we enter this next chapter, we wanted to share updates and enhancements to the Dauer brand. This newsletter is one new addition, but we’ve also re-envisioned our logo, our industry rewards programs, expanded staff, and much more. A look at our new logo can be seen below, and details about other enhancements are featured elsewhere in this newsletter or will be shared in weeks to come.
The Leadership Behind Our Name
Craig Klomparens – President
Fueled by a vision to bring more creativity and variety to the wholesale and retail lighting market, Craig founded Dauer in 2001. Since that time he has led the company to be a dominant player in the LED lighting category with smart, artistic, durable designs that reflect today’s consumer tastes. Prior to founding Daur, Craig oversaw global sales for a large international specialty lighting company which gave him first-hand insight into the unmet segments of the market. Leveraging his strong relationships with engineers and developers in the industry, he then created Dauer as a solution for those unmet needs.
Joaquin “Kino” Obeso – Vice President
Heading up Dauer’s sales and management initiatives is Kino Obeso, a lighting industry veteran with extensive expertise in architectural, artistic lighting design across retail, hospitality, and consumer markets. His keen eye for trends and innovation has been a driving force behind Dauer’s many captivating interior and exterior lighting offerings. As well, Kino serves as our key liaison between our trade customers and our product lines, deepening our relationships at every level.
